FASS 2005: More than meets the eye? The transforming FASSmobile (James Morrison) was the grand techie challenge of FASS 2005.

Handbook - Theatre Tour and Read-through

What is the read-through?

At the read-through, you'll find out what part you get and receive your copy of the script for your role. Then we'll start at the beginning of the show and read through the whole thing, with the actors for each scene coming up and reading their lines. It's a chance for you to find out what the whole show is all about. Also on the morning of the read-through is an interesting theatre tour of Humanities Theatre (the theatre we perform in). See below for details.

When is it?

The read-through will take place on Sunday, January 13th, (at 1PM sharp in AL 113). You should come about 15 minutes early to pick up your script, grab a seat and some munchies.

Do I have to come?

Yes. This way you'll know what's happening in the show. If you won't be able to make it, get in touch with the Stage Manager.

What about techies?

Techies should come to the read-through. That way, you'll get an idea of what the show will be like and know what kinds of magical props and mysterious set pieces you'll need to build.

We do have something else for you to do that day: the theatre tour, which will take place on the morning of Sunday January 13th at 10:00 am, meeting at the Humanities Theatre Box Office. Peter Carette, the Director of Theatre Operations at the UW Theatre Centre, will give a tour of the theatre. Actors are more than welcome to come to the theatre tour as well!
