What does the FASS Committee do?

The FASS Committee as a whole is responsbile for the running of the FASS Theatre Company and the production of the annual show. Detailed information about the responsibilities of the Committee are available in the Constitution.

Who are the members of Committee?

The current members of committee and their email addresses are listed on the Committee page.

How do I become a member of Committee?

(This is definitely one of the most frequently asked questions.)

Chief Script Writer and Treasurer are chosen in the winter term before the Annual General Meeting; you will need to apply and be interviewed for these positions, and notice of applications will be posted to the FASSmod mailing list and the announcements page.

Producer, Director, and Technical Director are chosen after the Annual General Meeting; you will need to apply and be interviewed for these positions, and notice of applications will be posted to the FASSmod mailing list and the announcements page.

Stage Manager is chosen after the Director position has been filled; you will need to apply and be interviewed for this position, a notice of when applications will be accepted will be posted to the FASSmod mailing list and the announcements page.

President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Representatives are chosen at the Annual General Meeting in March/April; you do not need to apply in advance for these positions, just show up at the AGM.

Past President, Past Producer, Past Director, Past Technical Director, and Past Chief Script Writer are filled automatically by the previous year's committee members.
