FASS 2011 Theme Meeting

Greetings from the CSW for 2011!

The Theme Meeting for FASS 2011 is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, March 23 in HH 280 from 7-9pm. This is where we have a chance to get together to discuss ideas for the theme of next year's show and select four or five themes that will be presented to the company at the upcoming AGM. From these themes, the one chosen by the company will emerge victorious as the theme for 2011! (There can be only one...)

Everyone is welcome to come out and participate in theme brainstorming. If you've got a theme idea for the show, want to get involved in discussion or help decide which themes to present, or just come out to join in the fun, then this is the place to make your voice heard.

If you're unable to attend the meeting and have an idea for a theme, you can also e-mail them to me (thethorne [AT] gmail.com). If possible, include a short description and why you think it would make a good theme.

FASS Annual General Meeting and 2011 CSW!

Greetings, FASSful folks!

It is with great pleasure that I announce to you that Matt Thorne (Kirby and The Wise One in Final FASSity MMX) has been selected as Chief Script Writer (CSW) for 2011! Having written for FASS in this past year and others years as well, he's now taking up the mantle of the CSW Briefcase. So heartiest congratulations to him!

He'll be announcing a theme meeting shortly, so keep your eyes peeled for details about that.

But in the meantime, there's something else to announce:

A REUNION, of course! We now have a date, a time, and a room for the AGM (Annual General Meeting)! (AGM event on Facebook)

What can you expect? Nibbles (provided by our lovely Vice), constitutional amendments, voting for next year's theme, electing new Committee members (Prez, Vice, Secretary, and four Reps), showbooks and DVDs (oh my!), and, of course, the Watching Of The SHOW!

So set your sights toward Saturday, March 27th, and join us in AL 113 at noon to gather together for a REUNION! (REUNION, REUNION!)
