Hello FASSies!!! Here are your summer FASS updates:
Show type & dates: The Fall radio play will premiere online on October 29th, 2020. Rehearsals will be online, or in very small groups outside. Voices will be recorded & combined digitally to create a 1-hr radio play.
Writing continues: CSW Michelle & team of writers are working on an interdimensional radio broadcast! Join them on facebook!! Or check out the brainstorming document, feel free to send her an email and add yourself to the email list here.
Applications for Fall 2020 Show Council due July 17: We’re looking for people! Applications should be sent to prez@fass.uwaterloo.ca with a summary of experience. Since this show is going to be a little different than usual, take a close look at the descriptions below.
Director July 17th 11:59 pm
- Casting
- Helping people sound good & voice act well
- Show sounding cohesive artistically
“Stage” Manager July 31st 11:59 pm.
- Scheduling
- Attendance
- Coordinating director with techies
Producer July 17th 11:59 pm
- Marketing (entirely digital, must have social media skills)
- Getting actors
- Advertising premiere
Tech Director July 17th 11:59 pm
- Ensuring tech works for each rehearsal & for recording day
- Finding editors & techies (definition up to Show Council) to help out
- Audio gets to/from editors in a usable state
- Coordinate sound editing
- Do sound editing as necessary
